Good Luck to the Bees today.
Let's hope they don't balls it up again today.

Be great to see them up. Maybe Winston scoring for them.

Decent club.

I don't give a shit about Blackpool- they still believed that they were "robbed" on that day in Wembley in 2012. They tend to over look at the fact that in total, in the 3 games played against then that season we scored 10 goals against their 2. In one of those games we had an outfield player in goal and we were down to ten men yet we still thumped them 4-1 at their back yard.

Ps - for the sake of my kneecaps and in honour of family heritage, it's Roma or Treviso at a push. But they would have to be the largest of pushes that send me back to the Med.

It's West Ham or bust.

You oily, betrayal-laden, affair-ridden 'second teamers'!

;-)

Couldn't give a shit about any of them.

Won't care about club football now until the start of next season.

Nine years since the gum chewing fat man got us back to the PL against Blackpool. Good luck today to the Seasiders in their play off final against Lincoln. Their fans have had a lot to put up with shit owners just like us.

Re: Good Luck to the Bees today.
I had a spot spot for Brentford. Ron Greenwood, jumpers for goalposts, etc.

Now they are in the Prem, I can justifiably hate them.

Excellent!

Re: Good Luck to the Bees today.
Delighted for Brentford. Griffin Park was a mile from my brother's house in Kew, so when the lad and I visited for WHU games, we always fitted in a Brentford game before the flight back. Standing in the home end and having my son listen to the abuse was hllarious, from age 13 onwards. Mind you, he had a hefty dose at UP.

Next season, even if we have to do a two day trip, we'll be over for those games.

I Feel Reid can still do a job for us as 4th choice C/B has not played badly this season and been injury Free

I have a mate who has been to almost every England and Brentford game since 1988. Ecstatic.

Re: Good Luck to the Bees today.
Congrats to them. Be interestingly by to see how their recruitment strategy works at a higher level. Thought Toney was much better than in semi finals. Did show some skill with that volley that hit the bar and held up/ laid ball off well and defended set pieces well. Also was always talking to his team mates all the time encouraging them so a good team player. But runs around like Carroll / Baller with little pace so not sure he would fit our style. Unlikely they will sell now anyway so move on.
P.S. when Winston came on thought he was easily their best defender so they may want him for next season.

Nice completion of the circle for Winston Reid of being knocked and getting a knee injury thats basically ended his career away at Swansea to beating them at Wembley.
Actually think taking him on a free would be a good move for them though we will be paying most of his wages.

Pleased for Brentford , great little club
Toney will be useful for them but agree he isnt for us.

Re: Good Luck to the Bees today.
Well done, Brentford. Good to see fresh faced little guys get a seat at the top table.

Toney seemed quite good at being strong holding the ball up and laying it off, like Antonio, but with not much else to his game. None of the trickery and pace Mickey gives us.

Re: Good Luck to the Bees today.
Ron Greenwood's boyhood club (and he played for them).

Didn't see the match, but he wouldn't have appreciated Brentford's reported play-acting.
